Hazardous Conditions
There are thousands of hazardous conditions on a property that can conceivably cause injury. Cases are regularly commenced to recover damages for injuries sustained due to dangerous conditions ranging from cracked or uneven stairways, to portions of cracked or uneven sidewalk, to snow or ice accumulation. Whether in a supermarket, at a private house or a place of business the owner of the property has a duty to use reasonable care to discover such conditions and remedy them before an injury occurs. The failure to do so in a situation where they knew of the condition or should have known had they used reasonable care, will result in liability.
